Y.M.C.A. WAR FUNDS

The National Committee of ths Y.M.C.A. acknowledges receipt of the following subscriptions to its war funds: Marlborough Patriotic Fund, £161 12s; Nelson War Fund appeal, £150; per Patea and District Patriotic League (Ladies' Committee Red Cross £100, Patea Patriotic League £7 6s 9d), £107 6s 9d; per New Plymouth Patriotic Committee (Mangorei Co-operative Dairy Co. £100, Mr. Henry King £5), £105; Tailiape and District Patriotic Society, £25; Apiti Patriotic Society, £15; Misses M. Reynolds and A. Jacobs, Hokitika, £6 12s 6d; Rewa Hall Committee, £4; "1.5.," Wellington, £1. Of the £467 7s 5d recently acknowledged from the Hawera Patriotic Society, £404 was raised by a special effort of the Hawera Ladies' Committee, the remainder being from the Mayor's special fund.
