MUTINY IN A PRISON.

(REHTER'S TELEGRAM.) (Received August 18, 2.50 p.m.) MADRID, 17th August. A mutiny broke out in the chief prison in Madrid during the daily visit of the prisoners' families. The convicts attacked the warders and the military guard. Reinforcements arrived, and were received with shots from the windows. Finally the mutiny was quelled, after seven people had been killed and several wounded.
