NAVAL AND MILITARY ENTERTAINMENT
la-order to provide funds for supplying comforts to New Zealand, soldiers in hospitals in England and elsewhere, the St. John Ambulance Brigade has organised a naval and military entertainment to bo held in the Town Hall' to-morrow night. •The cause is a good one, and should attract a large audience, even apart from the quality of the entertainment. Patrons, however, 'have not been asked to give their money for nothing. The concert promised should be an excellent one. The Trentham Camp Band and the Wellington; Patriotic Society's Band will be in attendance, and a number of talented and popular performers have promised their services. Among these are:—Mr. Hamilton Hodges, Serg>-Major Frank V. Blandford, Sergt.-Major F. Fox, Mr. H F. Wood, Mr. K-. de Lacey Peek, Cpl. A. A. Scott,' Mr. Val Atkinson, Mr. Fj-ank Thomas, and Mr. H. Daysh, of Martinborough. By permission of the Fuller management, Signor Antonio Molinari anU Signora Molinari, now appealing at His Majesty's Theatre, will also assist with excerpts from grand opera, During the interval Lieut.-Col. j; G. Hughes, D.5.0., CM.G., will dispose of several valuable articles.
