A MOTORIST'S HANDBOOK.
An excellently got-up little handbook on "How to Drive a Motor-Car" has been received from the Temple Press, Ltd., London, whose imprint on a motoring publication is looked upon among motorists the world over asa sufficient guarantee of the contents therein. As the preface says, "This work is a key to the subtleties of motoring," and the various chapters fully bear out this statement. It is full of hints and sane advice to drivers, whether novice or expert, and there are very few drivers who will not benefit by having it. The book is well illustrated, and amongst other chapters the following may bo mentioned: — "Traffic Precautions," "flow to Steer," "Gear Changing," "Use and Care of the Brakes," "The Lady Driver," "Skidding," "Throttle and Ignition."
