BUYING IN WAR TIME.
"I am told" (says "Camshaft" in the Chrißtclmrch Evening News) "that the cable from Home; to the effect that Lloyd's was betting 10 to 1 that the war will be over in September has had quite an appreciable effect upon the motorcycle market here. Young men reckon, it is worth while taking a chance that thoy will not be called upon to fight, and they give their orders in fairly freely in consequence."
