IN CHAMPAGNE
ENEMY EVERYWHERE
REPULSED
WITH CONSIDERABLE LOSS.
The High Commissioner reports : LONDON, 4th Nov., 1.45 a.m. In the Somme district the enemy's minefields were overturned.
In the Champagne district, after a, bombardment with asphyxiating shells, the enemy attacked a farm at Chausson, only capturing poitions of advanced trenches at Hill 199. The enemy was everywhere repulsed with considerable loss.
