APPLES AND PEARS. The Clan. MacArfchur's apples were in very variable condition; some excellent and others very ripe and .wasty. They sold at 4s to 14s per case. Many of the pears were worthless, and some were condemned. ■ SUGAR. The sugar, market is quiet; prices steady. METALS. Silver— Bar silver is quoted afc'23 3-I6d per ounce standard. Copper— On tho spot. £80 15s to £81 per ton; at threo months, £82 to £82 ss. Electrolytic, £94 to £95. Tin.— On the spot, £168 5s to £168 15s pv ton; at three months, £166 5s to £166 15s. Load — Soft foreign, £23 to £23 10s per ton. Spelter— Ordinary brands, cash, £95' per ton; forward, £80. ' Pig iron — Middlesbro' No. 3, 66s Id. WHEAT, FLOUR, AND OATS. Wheat—The market ia steadier owing to_ unfavourable reports of the American winter orop. Indian wheat is 6d dearer. Flour— The market is dull; buyers are reserved. Oats— Market quiet. New Zealand, 376 ; Bahia Blanca June-July shipments, 25s 6d. PEAS AND BEANS. , Peas and beans are steady. Priow unchanged. BRADFORD MARKET. The Bradford wool market is quieter. Prices: 64 ( 8, 44d; 60's super, 43id; 60' 8 common, 42^d ; 56's, 36d ; 50's, 33d ; 46's, 28d; 40's, 26d.
