SENTENCE IN NAPIER MURDER CASE. (il TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NAPIER,, 10th June. The hearing of the charge against Alice Parkinson of niuK-dering Albert West was concluded at. the Supreme Court to-day before ih/j Chief Justice (Sir Robert Stout). After a retirement of' over three houra the jury returned a vcjrdicfc, of guilty of manslaughter, with, , a strong reconv mendation to mercy on account of the provocation accuseci /had received. His Honour did not think it was a, case where clemevic;y could be allowed. It was a cold,' pi/eimeditated 'murder. " Accused was sentenced to imprisonment for the term of her natural life.
