(BI TEISe/R/JH— PRESS ASSOCIATION.) NEW PLYMOUTH, 10th June. The Agri/cv'iltural Society's Winter.' Show was opened by the Prime Minister to-day. Tha exhibits were of a very high standard. In butter the Awahuri Factory v/a/s most successful, winning four secti'or'is. Te Aroha obtained thi points prYzk hi cheese, and Cardiff won three seefcirons and Taieri and Peninsula, Kaupokc/rtui, and Tariki one each. The poultry (/lasses attracted good competition. Tlie bantam North Island chainpiortshipn resulted : Bnff , E- James (New Plymouth; black and red, Mrs. S. Johnson (Palmerston North); any other varietji, E. James.
