ALLIES' GUNS THE MORE ACTIVE GERMANS CONSTRUCTING TRENCHES AT THE REAR (By Telegraph.— Pms Association.— Copyright.) (Keceived .November 23, 9 a.m.) PARIS, 22nd November. A communique states: "Between Arras and the Oise there have been only Intermittent bombardments. " Our artillery, on the whole, is more active than the enemy's. It destroyed several lines of trenches. The enemy is constructing fresh trenches in the rear. "The day was quiet on the remainder of the front." PARIS, 22nd November. Official.— The day was very quiet except in the 'Woeuvre, where five massed attacks were made at Epargnes within two hours. The French artillery repulsed the attacks.
