AUCKLAND, 15th November. The senior cricket matches were continued yesterday in fine weather. Grafton defeated Parnell on the first innings by 84 runs. Grafton made 272 and 112 for two wickets (E. ITorspool not out 40, Caro not out 28) Parnell had made 188 (B. Reese 73). Eden A defeated Eden B by 11 runs on the first innings Scores : Eden A 171 (Taylor 63, Cummings 45); Eden B 160 and 161 for eight wickets
(Shepherd not out 43, Blair 37). University beat North Shore by 20 runs on the first innings. Scores : University 191 (Caradus 65), North Shore 171 and 118 for two wickets (Stewart 73). Ponsonby defeated Waitemata by 154 runs on the Srst innings. Scores: Ponsonby 331 for eight wickets. Waitemata 177 (Temperton 69). CHRISTCHURCH, 14th Nov. West Christchurch made 198 against Sydenham, who replied with 101 for one wicket. East Christchurch 236 v. Linwood 120 for two; Riccarton 182 (H. B. Whitta 72) v. Sydenham B, 201 for four (W. Patrick 64 not out). St. Albans 336 for four (declared), H. A. Bishop' 178, R. G. Hickmott 54 not out, v. Kaipoi 84. DUNEDIN, 14th November. As the result of heavy rain this morning, all cricket matches were postponed.
