SENIOR GRADE. Karori defeated St. Peter's by 54 runs on. the first innings. For St. • Peter's Leys scored 67 runs and took five wickets for 52 runls. Post and Telegraph defeated Institute by an innings and 4 runs. United Methodist won by default from Marist Bros., and V.M.C.A. gained a similar victory ovei 1 Brooklyn. JUNIOR GRADE. United Methodist (55 and 90) defeated Marist Bros. (27 and 71), the best scorers for the winners being Mabin 38, HiUs 27, Bold 14, and Bell 14. In bowling, Bold secured five for 6, Warwick seven for 33, and Mabin four for 21. Institute 112 (Leggatt 50, Smith 20) beat V.M.C.A. 91 (Cox 27, Trott 23) by 21 runs on the first innings. OTHER GAMES. The following is the result of the Telephone Exchange-Railway B match: — Railway, first innings, 62 runs (Tempest 24 not out, M'Gill 13); Telephone Exchange, 218 runs for eight wickets (Magee 95, Hatchard 50, Marshall 29, Webb 16). Nelson and Pollock bowled best for Telephone Exchange. Railway A defeated Whitcombe andTombs- at Kelburn by 66 runs. Whitcombe's scored 66 (Milford 31 not out, Tyrall 19, Bruce 7). Railways replied with 132 (A. Cornfoot 45, Dwan 29, Haley 11, G. Cornfoofc 9 not out). For Whitcombe's Hanratty took three for 1 30, Milford three for 20, Whaler one for 13, Gully one for 23, and for Railways, A. Comfoot took nine for 34, and Duff one for 27. Playing against Gollin and Co., the Electric Light Department made 183 for the loss of seven wickets and declared (Fitzgerald retired 53, Sisson 45, Connolle 40, Lauchlan 12). Gollin's replied with 30 (Grey 14). For Electric Light Connolle took seven wickets for 16, and Castles three for 12. For Gollin and Co. Greig took three wickets for 53 runs. A match between Dominion and Occidental was won by the latter by three wickets and 103 runs. Occidental's best scorers were — Mummery 68, Balks 64, and Carrad 27. The Dominion's leading batsmen were — Kinnear 28 (not out), C. Reid 27, and Binnie 25. Clifton Terrace defeated the G.P.O. Clearing Room by an innings and 2 runs. For the winners the best batsmen were — Alberlson 58, Sutherland 19; and for the losers Walkley 25, Boustridge 12. In the match between Selwyn and St. Anne's Selwyn made 174 (Buck 85, Huseford 15, Watson 15, and Manderson 15^; St. Anne's responded with 65 for two wickets (C. Rouse 30 not out and W. Rouse 29 not out). C. .Rouse bowled bost for St. Anne's and Hassell for Selwyn. Against Starj Thorndon made 108 (Buck 29, Staples 23, Roberts 23, and Wilson 18). Kells (five for 27) and Blenkinsop (two for 18) bowled best for Star, who lost three wickets for 14 (Thomas 11 not out). Martin captured all three wickets for 9 runs.
