Butland, ti& Wefit Coa^st starter, has arrived from Hokitika to ropresent the Weatland Racing Club at tho Country Clubs' Conference to be held to-morrow. Charlerose has been on tho easy list, and is considered an Unlikely starter in the Trial Plate. S. Reid has been onfaged to ride Waitomo in tho Trial 'lato, which means that the horee named is an unlikely starter in tho Te Aro Hack Handicap. The same horseman has been secured for Try Fluke for the To Aro Hack Handicap, and his number will be missing from the Trial Plato field. The field includes three New Zealand Cup candidates in Pimpernel, Shaki, ajid Rhino. Accommodation has been engaged »t H. Telford's for Ja-ckman, Gar*nco, ] and the members of Mr. G. L.
