SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY

There was a large audience at the Sailors' Friend Society last evening, when Mr. P. Fitzgerald provided a successful entertainment. Mr. James Moore, the missioner, occupied the chair. The following contributed vocal and elocutionary items: Messrs. J. Elliott, G. Warren, P. Fitzgerald, H. Petersen, and J. H. Dunn. Several popular choruses were sung in grand style by the men present. During an interval "Mr. Moore delivered a short temperance address.
