STOCK SALE
Messrs. Dalgety and Company, Ltd., repoit having held a sale in Pahautauu; on Monday last, when they had r fair yarding of sheep and good entry of cattle. A number of outside buyer-; were in attendance and competition throughout the sale was very satisfactory, practically ' the whole yarding haing sold under the hammer at prices well up to late rates. Sales en"ect«d were as under :--Fat ewes, light 16s 64: store ewes, 11s lid; fat and forward lambs. 14s ; medium blackface Jambs, 9s 7d ; Romney rams, 1 guinpa to 1^ guineas. Cattle : IS-months sieers, £Z 10s to £3 17s ; yearling p^eers and heifers. £2 Is; 18-month 1 : da>r\ heifers. £3 10s ; bulls, £3 10s to £4 i.
