The newspaper Journal de Paris, in announcing that the railway from Dar-es-Salaam (German East Africa) to Tanganyika has been completed, points out that it is the first step towards the realisation of a scheme to Dlace Central Africa under Germany's sway, and to drain the riches of the colonial empires of Portugal and Belgium.
