. MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE. The Management Committee of the Wellington Pootball Association held its weekly meeting last evening, Mr. B. L. Salmon- presiding. There were also present Messrs. A- Williams (secretary), W. j. H. Reynolds, W. Duncan, fl. ' Godber, W. Walls, J. B. Paton, and ,T. Thompson. Lieutenant C. Copping wrote, asking if matches could be arranged with H.M.S. ' Pioneer's team. The secretary was instructed to reply to the effect that matches would be arranged at an early date. The referee (Mr. R. S. Lithgow) in the Thistle- Corinthians match on Saturday last complained of the lateness in commencing; the game. — It was resolved to notify all clube that matches must commence punctually at the time fixed. The Wednesday competition is to commence on Wednesday next, the 19th inst., and it was reported that there would probably be four teams competing. Three Tounds are to be played, and all matches will take place on the two grounds at Duppa-fltreet. The sub-committee appointed to enquire into the matter regarding dressing accommodation at Miramar reported that it had received an offer of a ten-roomed house close to all grounds at Miramar, and at a. low rental. A suggestion was brought forward that each senior team be asked id subscribe a small sum each week towards the rental of the dwelling.— It was decided to ascertain from the clubs if they would be willing to adopt tho suggestion. The Kelburne- Club applied for permission to enter another team in the Sixth Division. — The application wae granted. The boys of ,the Ainokiira being deeirous of taking part in the competitions, were granted- permission to play in the Fifth 5 Division. They were also granted permission to practice on Anderson Park. Owing to the winter holidays the team -will not play between the 3rd and 18th July, inclusive, t At a, meeting of the boys' sub-com-mittee last night, it was decided that a fourth division representative team be sent to Palmersiou North to play the Manawatu boys' representatives. All "matches that were not played or unfinished on, Saturday last are to be played at the end of the season, if necessary.
