Edward Fuhrmau pleaded guilty to stealing a, pair of fieldglasscs, the property of Mary M'Mahon. and an ulann clock stud «mv, tho property of Florence Nelsou. !He -was remanded -until to-morrow for ienceJohn Williams pleaded guilty to tho 'theft of an overcoat froiu a fellow employee on tho Mount Nessing Station, Canterbury. He wan fined £1, in default *even .days* imprisonment, and the return of the coat to the owner was ordered. Porey Lunn and Williaiu Uaynes both pleaded guilty to harbouring uncustomed goods of the value of £2 and £3 respectively. They -rfere fined the full amount fixed by statute— £6 and £9— but, as they ■were first offences, the fines were reduced to £3_ and £4 respectively, with 7s court eoste in each case. The default was fixed pt seven daye' imprisonment.
