The Wellington Accountant Students' Society held its monthly meeting lust might in the Chamber of Commerce. The 'lecturer was Mr. H. E. It was decided by Cabinet yesterday ihat a section of land for a post office be pufchased at Miramar. The exact nite hap, however, not yet been decided ■upon. Messrs. Whitcombe Pym, motor ■engineers, Vivian-street, advertise a hillclimbing contest on novel lines, and _iu,vite enthusiasts to enter. No admission lee is charged. Applications are invited for the position of Medical Inspector of tichoola.
