The Boye' High School. , Christchurch, required 229 to win, and^ scored 202 (Hickmott 111, Otley 21. and W. Guiney 16). The shield was presented to the Grammar School by Air. R. B. Lusk, who, in the course of his speech, re* gretted that matches for the shield had been confined to Auckland and Canterbury teams only.
