[by tat.fießAPK—i'iisgs assooiawon.] DANNEVIRKE, 9th September. An elderly man named Daniel Baine, gardener to the Rev. Father Cahill, was found dead ih a paddock thia afternoon. His body wa<s fearfully mangled, apparently by & bull, wiiich was m the paddock. There was no witness of the fatality. An inquest wift be held tomorrow. pANNEVIRKI?, Tni* Bay. At an -inquest yesterday on Dotiiel Bfcine the medical evidence showed that death was due to injuries inflicted by a bull, two of the wounds alone being sufficient to cause death. The jury returned a verdict accordingly. Deceased wa^ an old-age pensioner.
