At a meeting of the executive of the Referees' Association veTy strong expressions of disapproval were passed en the procedure of the referee, Mr. Dunciin, in the Otaga-Minor Unions match, wnich ultimately led to the disqualification by the Otago Union of M'Dcmald, the Well-known All Black player. As a result of the manner in 'which RU'ch disqualification was brought about the re-fei-ee in question has beer, asked to resign from the Reterees' Association. Owing to injuries, Messrs. f. Roberts and H. -M'Leod will be unable to play for Wellington in tho football match with Taranaki on Saturday. Messrs. J. Tilyard and G. Kinvig have been selected to fill the vacancies.
