MAN INJURED BY A TRAMCAR.

AUCKLAND, 29th January. A middle-aged man named Robert Abbott was knocked down by an Epsom tramcar in Symonds-street last night, and was taken to the hospital suffering from concussion of the brain. While fishing in the South Karori stream on Saturday afternoon, Mr. A. N. Field, of the Dominion newspaper staff, fell down a bajik and fractured las left arm. After walking some distance he was met by Mr. Gilbert, of the Education Department, who placed the injured "limb in splints. Mr. Field th«u went on. to the Ambulance Corps' camp ao Karori, where the injuries received proper attention. The sufferer was later brought to the hospital.
