MOTHER AUBERT'S JUBILEE.

% To-day the golden jubilee of Mother Mary Joseph Aubert will be *celebrated, and at the Town Hall this evening a grand concert will be held, during which His Excellency Lord Islington will present the Rev. Mother with a testimonial of Wellington's recognition of her truly wonderful work in the cause of charity. Since arriving in New Zealand in 1860 Mother Aubert has devoted her life and energies to the service of those of her fellows who weie in need of succour or upliftnient. An attractive programme lias been arranged for to-night, the following names being on the programme: Mrs. Sutcliffe, Misses Eileen Ward, L. and R. Van Staveren, Messrs. E. Parkes, D. A. Kenny, J .Dykes, J, R. Johnstone, A. W. Newton, J. A. Doherty, and James Jago (Dunedin Liedertafel). Miss M. Montagu and Mr. Kenny will act as accompanists. The first part of to-day's programme will be a street collection in aid of the jubilee fund.
