WELLINGTON CLUB. The result of the Wellington Swimming Club's 50yds race at the Te Aro Baths last evening was as follows :—: — First heat— W. J. O'Meara (Bsec), 1; L. Bridge (2sec), 2; A. M'Arlie (4sec), 3. Also started : Donovan 9se, Peart Bsec, Hatch 4sec, and E. Levy scr. Time, 38 l-ssec! Second heat— if. Murrell (lsec), 1; A. Crowther (3se<;), 2; Blundell (3sec), Bruce (3sec), and M'Lean (3sec), dead heat, 3. Also started : H. Wynne 3sec and W. M'Gregor 3sec. Time, 32 l-ssec. Final— O'Meara, 1; Murrell, 2; Bridge, 3. 'Time, 38sec.
