ROBERTSON DEFEATS GARDINER. [BT TELEGDAPH. — I'BESS ASSOCIATION.] STRATFORD, This Day. Ihe catch-as-catch-can wrestling match here last night between Louis S. Robertson and Joe Gardiner resulted in favour of the former, who gained the first fall in imin 30sec, and the second fall in Bmin 29sec. Tho men met at catch weights, Robertson scaling lOst, and Gardiner 9st 81b. Robertson showed conclusively that he is much the superior wrestler, the actual wrestling time occupied being 9min. 59sec.
