GOLD AND SILVER EXPORT.

The export of gold from New Zealand last month totalled 41,265 ounces, valued at £163,862, an increase of 7822 ounces, of the value of £33,597, compared with the figures for February of last year. Last month's return was made up as follows : — Auckland, 24,948 ounces, £98,312; Greymouth, 7128 ounces, £28,443; Dunedin, 6679 ounces, £27,062; liivercargill, 2510 ounces, £10,045. The export of silver last month was 154,258 ounces, of the value of £15,380, an increase of 20,871 ounces, valued at £1485, as compared with the export for February, 1908.
