Ellis and Darvell's insurances are unknown, but are probably in Alliance and Queensland. The stock was valued at £10,000. The Labour Department was uninsured, so far as can be ascertained. W. R. Emerson, solicitor, was insured for £50 in the New Zealand. Insurances on buildings :—Ellis and Darvell, Alliance, £860. Mrs. J. D. Barsby : on Whaler's, Nichols's, and 'M'Pherson's, £450 in the Sun; on Wang You's, £100. W. P. Gamer, £100 in the Commercial Union. E. Jones, £100 in the Snn. E. Hedges : on Finch's, £600 in the New Zealand. F. H. Gibbons : on Garner's, £100 in the Commercial Union.
