Mr Walter Symes, ex-member for this district, was presented with a purse of sovereigns and a solid silver tea service. The Hon. A. \V. Hogg was present. Apologies were received from the Premier, the Hons. R. M'Kenzie, T. Mackenzie, and Dr. Findlay.
