CONDEMNED PERSONS REPRIEVED. By, Telegraph.— freas Association.— Copyright. (Received January 15, 9 a.m.) ST. PETERSBURG, 14th Jan. The Tsar has reprieved the Ekaterinoslav prisoners, also others, and deduced numerous terms of penal servitude. The reprieved men participated in a railway strike at Ekaterinoslav in 1905. After quietly pursuing their ordinary avocations for three years, they were j recently court-martialled and sentenced to death. The newspapers protested against these and numerous other death sentences, and the matter was also discussed in the Duma.
