The seventh round of the various competitions under the auspices of the Canterbury Cricket Association was brought to a conclusion to-day, when the weather was fine and tho wickets favourable to the batsmen. The results of the games were-: — West Christchurch, 320 and 32 for one wicket, beat Riccarton, 292 and 57. Sydenham, 263 sind 18 for 2 wickets, beat St. Albans, 146 and 129. Linwood, 284, beat Christchurch, 94 and 41. AUCKLAND, 29th February. The, senior cup championships were continued this afternoon in ideal weather .when the eighth round was commenced. City, playing Grafton, made 119 in the first innings' (Hemus 35, Baechey 18), Grafton lost three wickets for 110 (D. Hay 29, Graham not out 26), Horspool 20). Parnell scored 90 in tho first innings (Andreae 29, E. Foster 20), North Shore responding with 79 for three wickeis (Haddon 26, Dacro 24). Ponsonby scored 60 against Eden, R. Woods 28 being the only one to make a stand. Eden lost, live wickets for 76 (Smith 43, G. Mills 13, Rolf 4). White bowled capitally, taking four of the best wickets for 16 runs. Relf mado his last appearance to-day, as h© leaves next Saturday for England. He has decided to return next October or November, as coach to tho Eden Club, who have brought him out for two seasons. DUNEDIN, Ist March. Local cricket matches were continued yesterday in fine weather. Cansbrook B defeated Carisbrook A by 54 runs on the first innings. The former made 141 and 199 for 5 wickets (Thomson 52 .not out), and the latter responded with 87 (Fisher 30). Grange secured a three-point win over Dunedin, the former, making 117 and 101 for 9 wickets, while tho losers compiled 68 and 148 (Bannerman 42). , Albion, 123 and- 139, defeated Opoho (124 and 59) by 79 runs.
