ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE SHOW. [Bt Teleghapii.— Special to The Post.] MASTERTON, This Day. At the monthly meeting of the A. and P. Association an offer was made by the Solway -Syndicate to sell 90 acres to the association. ItT was resolved that the offer of the Solway Syndicate of the 90 acres bo accepted, subj.pct to finance, and tho approval of members of the association. A. &üb-committee was formed to go into the matter and report to a special meeting, to be held on 29th February. Accounts to tho amount of £50 14s 2s were passed for payment. Owing to tho pressure of work the secretary was unable to present the usual statement of accounts. Sixteen new members wereenrolled, and eight resignations were accepted. l Tho president .explained -thai the Governor would arrive by tho noon train on the day of tho show, and return in the afternoon to Wellington. He would be met with a guard of honour, consisting of the Manawatu Fejldmg, and Masterlon Mounted Rifles and be escorted to the ground. ' ' The Masterton (Municipal Brass Band has been engaged to play on the show ground on the second day.
