Beautiful weather prevailed, and although the water was slightly ruiflcd, owing to a northerly breeze, the races wero swum in good style, ana some close and exciting finishes wero witnessed. A largo number of lady friends were present. Afternoon tea wus> provided under the management of. Mrs. Fulton, astisted by a committee of ladies. B. C.
