.Tha Wellington Cricket^ Association lias been advised that llio dates suggested to the Auckland Association for the proposed Ranfurly Shield Challengo match have been accepted. If tho Wollington team can g;> North tli£ match will be played on the 26th, 27th, 28th, and 29th instant. Mr. Guilfoyle, director of tho Melbourne Botanical Uardens, who has been visiting Rotorua, says that, although ho had seen the famous Blue Grotto in tho island ot Capri, off Naples, and tho bluest parts ot" L?ke Como, in Xqrthern Italy, he had never yet seen any blue water to compare with that of Tikilapu. Even the marvellous* blue of tropical sea.s could not compare •\vjth TikiiapuHo thought it was wondgtful.
