SAN FRANCISCO MAIL.
ARRIVAL AT AUCKLAND. [BY TBIiIWKAPH. — PKESO ASSOCIATION. 1 AUCKLAND. This Day. The moil steamer 'Sonoma, from San Francisco, arrived at 7 o'clock this morning. She was delayed by long stoppages at way ports and a foul bottom. Following are the passengers for New Zealand :— Saloon ; Misses Palmer, Crozier, Mesdames Stevenson, Dexter, Messrs. T *ang, Stevenson, Wilson, Anderson, Robertson (2), Dexter. Second cabin : 'Misses Hardy, Deverell, Webb, Makill, Stewartson, Scott, O'Connor, Mesdames Dadley and child, M'Sweeney, Barclay, Cohen and two children, Blair, Onckett and child, Murphy and child, Keogh and two children, Law and child, •Messrs. Chambers, Fisher, Mamby, Cunningham, Chubb, Keogh, Rosen, Rev. O'Laverty; and 24 steerage. The Sonoma left San Francisco on the 31st May at 4.10 p.m. She arrived at Honolulu Wharf at 10.8 p.m. on the 7th June, Pagopago at 1Z.37 p.m. on the 16th, and Auckland at 6.35 this mgrning. Tho voyage occupied 621 hours. The long passage is accounted for mainly by the fact that the ship's bottom was very foul owing to her having been laid up at San Francisco for over two months. She was unable to dock before leaving San Francisco, as the dry dock had been damaged by the earthquake. The Sonoma, will be docked on arrival at Sydney. The mail will leavo Auckland for Wellington to-day by the steamer Oswestyy Grange, and is due here about 1 p.m. on .Monday.
