At on adjourned meeting of the Taieri Licensing Committee, the expressed will of the people at the local option poll was given effect to by the reduction of three licenses. The houses closed were the Kaikorai Junction, at Burnsidej the Coach and Horses, at Saddlchillj and 0 Donnell's Hotel, at Allanton.
