The New South Wales team in its first innings made 556 runs. Diamond did nob resume play owing to the death of his brother. Waddy made 65, Gregory 54, MacArtney (not put) 70. South Australia, in the second'innings, put up 115 runs — Gehrs (not out) 33 and Pelley 24, were the top scorers. New South Wales won by an innings and 82 runs. CHRISTCHURCH, 18th December. The annual cricket match between Chrises College and Otago High School commenced "to-day. Christ's College made 210 for the first innings. Tho visitors only made 99 against the bowling oi White and Baker. The home team in their second innings had lost four wickets for 58 when stumps were drawn. WEDNESDAY ASSOCIATION.
