Trumpeiy and Waiwera together did half to threequarter pacing over two circuits. Wet Reef and Bill Bailey •were companions over six-- furlongs in lmin 24sec, the Winter Cup horse going leisurely throughout. Full Cry and Heroism went one circuit at a sound pace. Half to steady pacing was practically all that was dono by a large number of horses out exercising.
