FOOTBALL.

The annual meeting of the Tailors' Football Club was hold last evening, Mr. Stoupe occupying the chair. The annual report stated 'that the club won the challenge cup last season, and also won a game against the Wairarapa Thursday team. Thanks are extended to Messrs. Bates and Lees, D. Milligan, Kitto and Graham, and A. Palereon for donations to the funds of the club. The balance-sheet showed a credit of £1 10s 3d. The election of officers resulted as follows : — Patron, Mr. David Milligan ; President, 'Mr. F. Kitto; Vice-Presi-dents, Messrs. Bates, Lees, A. Pateraon, Dickerson, and the maste 1 " tailors of Wellington; Secretary, Mr. R. SieveTs; Treasurer, Mr. C. Webb. It was put forward as a suggeetion to the committee that an effort should be made to arrange a match at Christchurch or Nelson during tho present season.
