TO-DAY'S PARLIAMENT.

LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. THE LICENSING BILL. The Hon. J. M. Twomey gave notice to move that the Licensing Bill be recommitted for the purpose of considering a new clause to provide that an elector shall not vote on more than one issue at a local option poll. The Hon. S. T. George gave notice to recommit clause 53 (the club) clause) of the Bill. A number of orders of the day were then postponed in order that local Bills should be dealt with. (Left sitting.)
