BRITISH HOME DEFENCE.
AN APPEAL FROM THE QUEEN. [PRESS ASSOCIATION.] LONDON, 20th February. The Queen has made an appeal from Windsor to former officers and privates in the array to join the new force of Royal Reserves which has been organised for home defence "to replace those troops which are with the colonials at the front, nobly resisting the invasion of British territory."
