FRANCE'S ARMY RIFLES. " SUPERIOR TO ANY OTHER," \ [PBESS ASSOCIATION.] PARIS, 20th February. The Chamber of Deputies cheered an announcement by General Gallifet, the Minister for War, that the French army would ip August next be armed with a rifle superior to any other. This result, explained the Minister, would be owing to a simple alteration, credit for which was due to General De Loge, one of the divisional commanders of the army.
