MARINE CASUALTIES.
[PEESB ASSOCIATION.] Hobart, 26th December. The small steamer Yolla, belonging to the Union Company, was wrecked while on a voyage from King's Island to Strahan (Macquarie Harbour, on the West Coast) with cattle. The disaster occurred near Sandy Cape, some 55 miles north of Macquarie Harbour. The crew were saved. (Reoeived December 27, 9.50 a.m.) Sydney, This Day. The sailing vessel Alexa, when being berthed here on her arrival from the Bluff, collided with the Pyrmout Bridge, which crosses the head of Darling Harbour, the centre of inter-colonial trade iv Sydney Harbour, and received slight damage to her head gear. A cable message from Noumea notifies that the ship Falls of Garry, which stranded at Tchio in February, has been refloated, ,and will be towed to Sydney. Greymotjth, 26th December. The Mapourika is likely to be repaired here. She has been slewed rouud ready for being launched over into the river.
