FURTHER PARTICULARS OF THE HAVOC. [press association.] (Received December 27, 9.30 a.m.) ' Cooktown, This Day. Further details of last week's New Guinea cyclone are to hand. About a dozen small vessels were wrecked and a number of others are missing. The schooner Wanawana was driven ashore, but the craw escaped. The Government ketch Mara is supposed to have foundered at sea. An extensive landslip killed twelve natives. Immense damage was done to the cocoanut palms, and the gardens of the traders are great sufferers.
