AN ANTI - CHRISTIAN RISING FEARED. r [press association.] ' Cabul, 25th December. The population on the Russo - Afghan frontier are sending their women and children to the fastnesses of the mountains and building fortifications. It is feared that an anti-Christian outbreak is imminent. The Russians are endeavouring to allay the agitation, and recommend Great Britain to take energetic precautions.
