A GERMAN NEWSPAPER'S PREDICTION.
(Received July 6,10.15 a.m.) Berlin, sth July. The National Zeitung, a local newspaper, states that though Spain should lose her colonies the United States will not be the only gainer. If the Philippine Islands are abandoned to the natives the Powers will intervene and come to some agreement as to the future of the Islands.
