WHITTLED DOWN TO AN ANGLOCAPE CABLE. [PBESS ASSOCIATION.] (Received May 27, 9.20 a.m.) London. 26th May. The report of the Cable Committee only recommends the construction of an allBritii.li line between England aud the Cape, excluding the proposal for the continuation of the line from the Cape to Mauritius, and thence to Australia.
