Percy Cavill won the 88yds swimming race at the Westminster baths in 56sec, defeating Linberg by two yards. The winner was subsequently entertained by the Ravensbourne Club. Sir ltalph Wood Thompson, Privy Councillor, for many years Under Secretary of the War Department, has Bailed for Australia, having been deputed by the Imperial Treasury to enauire - into the Australian mints.
