Dougherty (respondent) an application for dissolution of marriage on the ground that the petitioner's marriage was null aud void, evidence was given that the respondent had admitted that her previous husband -was alive when she married the petitioner. A decree absolute of nullity of marriage was granted. Dr. Chas. Cooper and Wm. Jackson have been arrested at Te Aroha, the one charged with supplying and the other with causing a certain woman to take, a drug with illegal intent. The Hauraki Company's return is £1546 worth of bullion from 350 tons. Nelson, This Day. At the Supreme Court, after a three-days' trial, the jury found Amos Taylor, miner, of Collingwood, not guilty of perjury in swearing to having pegged out a claim on a certain date.
