THE PERTH WATER SUICIDE.

[I'BHSS ASSOCIATION. | Perth, 31at August. It was Mr. Richard Uarrow (not Caromman, as stated in Friday's telegram), who committed suicide at Perth Water. Ho was formerly well known in the Government service in Wellington. [Mr. Carrow was nntil six months ago in charge of the Railway Stores Department in Wellington, but resigned in order to make a tour of the colonies. Ho oarao to Auckland from London 25 years ago, and after living at the Thames and Christohurch, secured a position in the Pablio Works Department, afterwards becoming working manager of the railway stores in that city. This he threw up after a while and went to Sydney, where he entered the New South Wales Railway Department. About 10 years ago he returned to New Zealand, and assumed charge of the Railway Stores Department in Wellington. It is understood that his wife was with him at the time of the sad occurrence. A daughter by hi 3 first marriage is the wife of Mr. Ward, Mayor of Kiverton.]
